On Saturday, we went over to my parent's house to celebrate my dad's bday. I think he had a nice one.  Cory came down for the weekend too. YAY! I got to spend a lot of time with her.  She came over to our house on Friday nite. We were up in my room & Kendy pulls open our dresser and says to Cory, "Want to see Jason's underwear???" and pulls out a pair. It was soo funny! Then Kendy asked Cory if she wanted to see her mouthwash.    KIDS!

Meet Miss Vixey

My sister, Kirstie, just got a pomeranian & named her Vixey. The name comes from the movie "The Fox & the Hound", the girl fox in the movie is named Vixey.   Kendall loved her, and I think Vixey liked her too since they are both little. Vixey likes biting at our toes & she seems really playful. I think we wore her out cuz she plopped down & passed out.

1st day of Preschool

Yesterday, Kendy had her first day of 4 year old preschool.  Her teacher said she did well and did everything she was suppose to do.   Of course she did though! Cuz I'm sure she's a perfect angel at school! :)          Looking back at her preschool pic from last year makes me a bit sad though, she's growing up too fast now!

Last Hurrah

 This summer has flew by!!! Time for back to school! Andrea took the kids to the park the other day for some fun before Van and Josie went back to school the next day. Kendall goes back on Monday the 20th. We went to her open house on Monday & met her new teacher. Her name is Ms. Heidi.  Kendy only has 5 kids in her class total. So she'll get a lot of personal attention. I hope she learns a lot!

Hooked!

Last weekend, Jason's dad bought Kendy a fishing pole. We're going to Table Rock Lake over Labor day weekend & I guess he thought she might want to fish there. She loves casting the pole. She'll just go out in the yard & do it over and over again. I tried it the other day and I guess I was a bit rusty cuz she said "Here mommy, let me show you how to cast!!!"    Maybe she'll catch a fish at the lake! 

Twin bed

Kendy had been complaining that her toddler mattress was uncomfortable. She didn't even want to sleep in her bed anymore & was sleeping on the floor becuz you could feel the springs on her mattress. Her crib/toddler bed does convert to a full size bed but that would have taken up most of the room.  So we decided to go with a twin bed. We really like the one we picked out. It's actually a daybed/trundle. In these pics, we didn't have the trundle yet. For now, we will just use the trundle for storage. Once she's older we'll get another mattress for that. I think Kendy is really enjoying sleeping in a bigger bed & having lots of room to move around.

Last Friday, I watched Baby Alex, Bella & Kendall all day.   Kendy & Bella pretty much kept themselves entertained when they weren't asking me for snacks every 20 minutes & making it look like a tornado swept thru the house. :) Bella was a big help with Alex though. She helped rock him and answered any questions I had.  Kendy was a bit crabby in the morning though but luckily she got over that. We went for a walk and managed to lose a shoe off one of K's dolls, so we had to retrace our steps and go look for that.  Then at one point, the girls wanted to run thru the sprinkler and Alex wanted to eat and was crying really hard. So luckily, Kirstie had come over by then. She held Alex while I set up the sprinkler. Then I got back in and I was waiting for the bottle to warm up to feed Alex. Kendy and Bellz kept coming inside to get water/ice/more snacks. U woulda thought I didn't feed these 2! But they DID eat lunch.    Overall, the day went fine though, but I was pretty tired at the end!

Roller Skating

Yesterday, Andrea took Kendall & her kids rollerskating. This was K's first time. Andrea said she hated it. She said Kendy got really frustrated cuz her feet kept turning in (Kendy is kinda pigeon toed to begin with).
