1 year Dr appt

Today I took Kendall to the Dr for her 12 month appt. He said she looked good. She weighs 2o lbs, 13 oz (47 percentile) & is 30.5 inches long (90 percentile). She had 2 shots, & she cried for both of those. We can now start her on whole milk. Bye Bye formula!! Now we just need to work on getting her to drink the milk out of a sippy cup so we can wean off the bottle. After our appt, Kendall had to get some blood drawn at the lab. Our Pedi likes to test for anemia & lead poisoning. She cried really hard when the nurse inserted the needle. Poor thing. Plus her vein "blew", so she's gonna have a bruise.

I can't believe our little girl is 1 today!!!! Last year at this time I was getting ready to push. Fun Fun. It's been a great 1st year with Kendall. We love her so much. It's really neat to see your child grow & learn new things every day. I feel like we're baby experts now. Just kidding!

Andrea took these at her house yesterday. I was wishing I was in front of that fire too!!! Jason & I definitely want a fireplace in our next house.

Yes, Kendall, there is a Santa Claus!

I took Kendall to see Santa last Friday. Sorry the pic is so bad, I took a picture of the picture with my camera. She did eventually cry, but at least we got a semi good one. I like this Santa cuz his beard is actually real & he's very authentic looking. (He's at Mid Rivers Mall, for those in the area that are interested).

We got all our holiday decor up over the weekend. YAY!! Jason's dad came over yest and helped J do the outside lights. Kendall hasn't bothered the Xmas tree yet. Let's hope it stays that way. Jason & I had a night out for our 5th anniversary. We ate dinner down on the Hill at Mama Campisi's. Yummy food!! Then we went ice skating at Steinberg Rink in Forest Park. We had a good time.

Happy Anniversary!!

Well it's been 5 years already and I'm so happy I married such a great wife and mother. I wish we'd have the weather today that we had 5 years ago, I still need to get our X-Mas lights up and it's freezing outside.
