Kendall's photo session

I went back to work this week after being off for 6.5 weeks. It wasn't bad at all. Where the time went, I don't know! Those weeks off went by so quick!! My mom is watching Kendall 2 days a week and we have a babysitter for the other 2 days. She use to babysit Jason's sister, Allison & Jason when they were young. I will be off on Fridays. YAY!

My friend, Debbie, who I used to work with at Express Scripts, graciously threw a little get together party for Kendall on Saturday. She invited a few of my favorite ladies who I also used to work with. It was really fun. She made us a delicious lunch and bought a yummy cake. We had a little gift opening and Kendall got some cute outfits. Debbie also made her a cute fleece blanket with baby strawberry shortcake on it. Little Riley was soo cute. She wanted to take Kendall upstairs and play in the "princess" room with her. Good times.

Are you getting sick of pictures of Kendall sitting in her Boppy yet?? I think the formula switch & mylicon drops are helping her. (Crossing my fingers). She's been pretty good the past few days. Jason & I took her out to dinner with us over the weekend and made a trip to Target & the grocery store and she did well. YAY!

Can't believe she's already 1 month old! She has been sleeping all day today, which I guess is a good thing cuz then she's not being fussy. I tried hard to get some good pics today while she was awake.

( Since I know she checks my blog regularly!) Also wanted to say Congratulations to my cousin, Cindy and her husband, Michael. Yesterday, she gave birth to a son. His name is Dane Michael & he weighed 8 lbs, 1 oz & was 19 3/4 inches long. I'm really happy for you. Enjoy your little guy!

The last couple days/nights have not been fun. Little Miss Kendall has been super fussy and crying a ton. We think she has colic. I called the Dr and we are switching to a different formula for fussy/gassy babies & giving her Mylicon drops. Hopefully this will help her. She has been better this afternoon and tonight though, so we'll see. It is very frustrating to have a screaming baby and you can't do anything about it. I went to the Dr today to get my blood pressure checked again. I thought it might be high since I've been kinda stressed the past 2 days, but it is back to normal! YAY!! So I'm done with BP meds. I go back in 2 weeks for my post partum check up.

Kendall's 1st Bath

Kendall's umbilical cord fell off last week so she was able to have her 1st bath last week. Sorry, I'm just now posting these pics. She didn't like the bath AT ALL. She screamed! The only part she liked was the bath has this little shower attachment and she liked when we sprayed her with that. Poor baby. The other 2 pics in her pink sleeper I took today. She likes to look at all her little toys in her crib and pack n play now. She will even reach out and touch some of them.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! It's funny to think yesterday was my actual due date. I'm glad I had her early though. I probably would have been miserable by now. Gretchen got her the little outfit that she has on in these pics. It was funny cuz it's too big like all her newborn clothes are so I had to roll the waistband on the pants. Well, I put her in her pack n play yesterday and covered her up with a blanket. I looked at her a little while later and she has the pants totally off. How she did that I'm not sure! I guess she wiggled out of them. She's a little houdini.
