I had the pleasure of hosting a baby shower for Gretchen last Saturday. We had a really good time. Everything turned out how I had planned it. Gretch got a ton of nice presents & is very blessed. Now all we have to do is wait for Baby U to arrive sometime in April. She is due April 23rd, but she's hoping to have him around Easter. :) Can't wait to meet that lil baby!!!

Sofie

Andrea sent me this pic. This is the "shop dog" named Sofie where she takes her car to get fixed. Kendall loves this dog. Yesterday, Kendall told me Sofie was "the sweetest dog ever & she loved her very much!" I said "What about Rascal??" She says "He's a sweetheart!"

The Kendy Show

Yesterday, Kendy helped Andrea make Banana nut chocolate chip bread. K must have caught the cooking bug from Jason, cuz she certainly didn't get it from me. Although I do like to bake. She likes to help stir & pour ingredients in the bowl. Andrea sent some of the bread home with us & it sure was good. :)

Yesterday, I was in charge of the Vday party for Kendy's class at preschool. I think the kids had a good time. I had to think of some crafts to do. I just bought some big foam hearts & let the kids decorate them. They also colored wood heart ornaments I had bought. I had printed out some Vday coloring pages too, but we didn't get around to those. Then we had mini cupcakes & juice boxes for a treat. A successful party!

Wii

Kendall got out the Wii controllers last nite & told Jason she wanted to play. We never really play with it anymore. Last time we played was like December 2010! K seems to like it though. She was pretty good at the canoeing.

Bass Pro/Cabela's

So we went to Bass Pro Shop & Cabela's last Saturday. Jay wanted to get a gas meat smoker to smoke various meats in. He smoked a turkey breast on Sunday & it sure was good! Next up will prlly be some pulled pork. Kendall loved sitting on the 4 wheelers & all the boats.

She said the cutest thing to me yesterday. She said, "Mommy, you're my best friend & I love you lots!!" So sweet. :)
