Sibling class

Yesterday, Kendall had her sibling class to prepare her for the baby. I think she really enjoyed it.  The parents were asked to leave the room so I'm not sure what all they did except what Kendy told me.  They watched a little video, practiced holding baby dolls, traced their hands, got a sibling coloring book and a big sister tshirt. Then the parents joined them on a tour of the nursery. Luckily there was 1 baby in the nursery to see (since all the moms usually keep the babies in their rooms now). So thru the glass, the nurse showed the kids the umbilical cord, the babies feet and fuzzy hair. Kendy seemed excited by it. Then they showed them a typical hospital room so Kendy would know where I was sleeping at the hospital.   So when we were done Kendall asked when she could come back to sibling class. Pretty cute! I told her it was only 1 class! Then she asked me when her brother is here if they could come back to a sibling class. Nope, sorry Kgirl, this mama is done having babies after your brother! :)
