29 Weeks!

HOW FAR ALONG?? 29 Weeks

MATERNITY CLOTHES?? Some. I wear a lot of maternity shirts because I don't want to stretch out my non preg shirts.  I can still get away with wearing this one pair of non maternity shorts and jean capris though! Yesssss.

STRETCH MARKS? None (hoping it stays that way!)

SYMPTOMS--Restless leg syndrome, lots of heartburn (even during the day), getting more tired again, still have yucky tastes in mouth, had a stupid charley horse the other nite, acne, sciatic nerve pain, weight gain (obvi)

SLEEP--Not that great. I get up at least once to pee. Then I have problems going back to sleep some nights.

MISS ANYTHING? Sleeping thru the nite!! ( I suppose I should get used to that though!) :)

MOVEMENT---Lots!

CRAVINGS--none

QUESY? no thankfully!

STARTING SHOWING?  yes!

BABY IS--- A BOY

Dad's Surprise 60th Bday Party

Surprising my dad!!

Last Saturday, we had a surprise party for my dad at Dave & Buster's. He was def surprised! We had a good time eating dinner, opening presents, eating cake and playing games.

28 Weeks! (3rd trimester)

Went to the Dr today. Had to drink that yucky glucose drink to test for gestational diabetes & get my blood drawn. I'm hoping I pass since I didn't when I was pregnant with Kendall & had to do the 3 hr test.  Blood pressure & urine were both good. Baby boy's heartbeat was in the 145's. I'm measuring about 27 weeks at this point. But the Dr didn't seem concerned about that. I can still catch up. I'll now start seeing the Dr every 2 weeks. This pregnancy is just flying by!!

1st Day of Pre-K

Kendy started Pre-K yesterday!! She was really excited to go. She even said to me "I wish you didn't have to go in with me!"     Yikes, it's starting already!! :(     I think she had a lot of fun though. It's going to be a bit of an adjustment for her because she is going 4 days a week this year compared to 2 days a week the last 2 yrs.  But we thought it was best to prepare her for kindergarten.

Dog Days

Kendall & her little buddy.  I think Rascal actually likes being around her sometimes now.  Although yesterday she was holding him and pretending they were going down a water slide together.  She does not give that dog a break!

Sibling class

Yesterday, Kendall had her sibling class to prepare her for the baby. I think she really enjoyed it.  The parents were asked to leave the room so I'm not sure what all they did except what Kendy told me.  They watched a little video, practiced holding baby dolls, traced their hands, got a sibling coloring book and a big sister tshirt. Then the parents joined them on a tour of the nursery. Luckily there was 1 baby in the nursery to see (since all the moms usually keep the babies in their rooms now). So thru the glass, the nurse showed the kids the umbilical cord, the babies feet and fuzzy hair. Kendy seemed excited by it. Then they showed them a typical hospital room so Kendy would know where I was sleeping at the hospital.   So when we were done Kendall asked when she could come back to sibling class. Pretty cute! I told her it was only 1 class! Then she asked me when her brother is here if they could come back to a sibling class. Nope, sorry Kgirl, this mama is done having babies after your brother! :)
