So I participated in my first 5K (3.1 miles) last Saturday. It was called the "Flying Nun Run". I've been running for the past 7 weeks to prepare. I didn't do all that bad. I got 33 min, 19 sec. So like 11 minute miles. I did have to walk a few times, so I know I can do better. I'm planning on doing another one in May and shooting for a goal of 31 minutes this time. These 5k's are good goals for me cuz they force me to work out and run and stay in better shape. :)
