JACOB

Yesterday my parents had the very hard job of putting Jacob "to sleep". Jacob was 14 yrs old. He had developed diabetes and was starting to fail. My family had him for about 8 yrs. They had adopted him from their neighbor down the street when he moved. When my sister Kirsten was little (She was prlly like 5), she liked to go down and visit Jacob every SINGLE day. "Can I go visit Jacob, Can I go visit Jacob??" So it was only natural that this neighbor asked my parents if they'd take Jacob when he moved. He was a sweet dog. My family will miss him and so will their other dog, Zoe the pug. Dogs become such a part of your family. They really are like your children. They're always there for you with a tail wag and unconditional love. Jacob will be missed. Give your dog or cat an extra hug & treat today.

We got a new sectional for our family room last weekend. Jason & I really like it. We are finishing our basement and we were gonna put the old couch/chair down there but the couch is a bit oversized and they couldn't even get it down the basement stairs. So Jason will be getting new furniture for his "man cave" too.

Andrea sent me this picture today. She said Kendall was so proud of laying these babies down and covering them up. It took her a few tries to get the blanket just right & then she did a little dance cuz she was so excited.

Kendall & Aunt Cory

Cory and my grandma came down from WI for a visit. Cory is actually moving up there. We'll sure miss her. Anyway, we had a nice time. We celebrated my dad's bday on Sunday. Monday, I took off work and Cory, my gma, me, K, and my parents all ate lunch at Max n Erma's at the Meadows and then did some shopping there. It was a really nice day too. I'm glad some of the heat and humidity is staying away!!!

Alli & I took Kendall to St Louis Mills last weekend. We got Kendall a bunch of cute fall clothes. K had fun trying on jewelry and running around! People were getting a kick out of K trying on the bracelets.
