Last Day of Pre-K

Yesterday was K's last day at the preschool and also her and Austin's last day at Andrea's.  Tough day all around!  I took Kendall to Chill yogurt for a little last day froyo.  :)

First haircut

Austin got his 1st haircut a couple weeks ago.  It was growing a lot up top but not on the sides. So he kinda had a mohawk. I thought it was cute but Jay wanted to even it out.  Austin just sat there while Jay did it. Big boy haircut!

Kendy and her friend, Cara. They met when they were both in the 2 yr old class.

Well, Kendall has ended her run at the Learning Place Preschool. She went there 3 years. She has really enjoyed going there (most of the time, we did have a bout of crying with her when I was pregnant with Austin, prlly anxiety). Anyway, the school has been great and Kendall has learned so much there.  I'm really going to miss her going there and the Director and teachers. But she's off to kindergarten in August (tears!!).  :(

She did awesome at the graduation. As usual, she sang her little heart out to all the songs. We're proud of you Kendall!!!!!!

Kendall decided to put Austin in a laundry basket last week with some blankets and toys. He actually liked it.

**I forgot to mention this in my 6 month post but Austin has 2 bottom teeth now too!!

6 Month Dr Appt

 

Last week Austin had his 6 month appt. He's 27 3/4 inches long (70th percentile) and 17.9 lbs (50th percentile).   He's kinda like Kendall always was. Tall and thin.  He got 3 shots-2 in his thigh and an oral one. Of course he cried. But he was fine when I picked him up. But the Dr said he's doing fine overall.  

*This dude still isn't sleeping thru the nite either. He does it occasionally. But his routine is to usually wake up every nite around 2 am.   I think it's just habit at this point.

*He is also working on sitting up. He's getting better at it.

*We've tried every Stage 1 veggie with him. He seems to like them all. Guess we will start tryin some fruits.

Last Friday, Kendall had Mother's Day Tea at her preschool. It was really cute! They had a slide show of pics from the whole year.  Then they did a skit to the book "I love you forever". Kendall did really good! Then we got a gift ( a painted teacup and saucer). Then we had cake and cookies.   On Mother's day, we went to my parents for a little brunch made by Kirstie and then we went to Jay's parents for a little visit.  Jay made a yummy filet dinner for me and got Fritz's for me for dessert. So blessed to have 2 healthy children!!
