Crafts at the American Girl Store

Andrea took Kendall & her daughter, Josie, to the Am. Girl store yesterday for a little craft. They have various events throughout the year ranging from scavenger hunts, to reading stories, to crafts.   I guess they decorated leaves to hang on the Bitty Bunch Friendship tree.    Josie & Kendall both brought their Bitty babies to the event.

Carnival

On Saturday nite, we took Kendy to a carnival. She just loves going on rides.  She had her 1st mini roller coaster experience on the caterpillar. I asked her if she'd rather ride the caterpillar or the ferris wheel. Caterpillar won out!  I think she did get a bit scared because it started picking up speed and there was a little drop. We went around like 4 times, after the 2nd time she said "When are we getting off of this???"    Still fun though!          We're going to 6 Flags in a couple weeks and I'm sure she'll have a blast there!!

Gretchen & Alex and Kendy & I went to lunch on Friday. Then they came over and we pretty much spent the rest of the day at the pool. Alex was soo good. He slept almost the whole time!

Beat the heat

These 2 are all about snacks!

Last Saturday, I watched Ben & Kendy for a couple hrs. Trying to entertain both of them is hard!  One wanted to play outside, one wanted to go inside. One wanted to go in the pool, one wanted to go ride bikes.  I think they were only interested in the pool for like 15 minutes and they were done. Prlly took me longer to set up the pool, put their suits on & slather them in sunscreen! :)

Father's Day

I found this cute idea on Pinterest where u ask your kid some questions about their dad & see what kind of answers they give. So here is what I asked Kendall about Jason:

1. How old is Daddy??  366
2. How tall is Daddy?? This big & holds up her hands
3. What color is his hair?? brown
4. What color are his eyes?? blue
5. What does he like to wear?? blue clothes
6. What is his favorite drink?? water & soda
7. What is his favorite food?? NOT SALAD, hamburger helper  (haha! Not even close to his fav!!)
8. If you could go on a trip w/ Daddy,  where would it be?   A play store
9. If you could give daddy anything, it would be:  play doh
10. My fav thing about my daddy is: staying home with daddy

So there ya have it!!                 I hope Jason had a nice Father's day. He really is a great dad!  Kendall didn't behave all that well, but that is the norm with her lately.   We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner per Jason's request.

Pajama twinsies

Kendall loves her new matching nightgown. I just got this for her last weekend & she's been wanting to wear it every night since then. I might have to buy another one.

Last Friday, I hadn't heard a peep from Kendall for awhile. So, I went downstairs to see what she was doing. She had put Rascal in the back of the stroller & was pushing him around in the garage. My poor dog!
