We went to a little BBQ at Jason's parents house last Sunday. Gretchen & Lenny came so everyone got to meet Alex for the 1st time. He's getting so big! It's crazy how fast babies/kids grow!

Last Friday, Jason was off work. We ate lunch at this place on Delmar called Cheese-ology they have all diff kinds of mac n cheese. I had bacon mac n cheese and Jason got one with chicken.  They were really good, but kinda expensive.  Then we headed down to the Science Center for a bit to look around.

Jason, Kendy & I went to Janet/Allen's church picnic on Sat nite. It was a fun time. This was Kendy's 1st experience with carnival rides (other than a merry go round) & she loved it. Jason thought there was no way we'd use up all the tickets his mom bought, but Kendy went on each kiddy ride twice. She said her fav ride was the ferris wheel. I was a bit scared on that one. I'm fine when the ride is moving but when it stops to let peeps off/let new peeps on, and we're at a stand still in mid air, I was a bit scared & had sweaty palms.  Alia was a bit scared too cuz she started crying & got off after circling once with Janet & Kendy.     Guess we'll have to find more carnivals to take Kendy to this summer!

Jason took these pics with Kendall a couple days ago. I guess he was having her do silly poses.  They will be spending more time together becuz I'm going to a boot camp fitness class every Tues/Thurs nite for 6 weeks. I'm trying to get in better shape & lose a few lbs (or maybe a lot)! I had my first class on Tuesday. It was hard but definitely do-able.  I was sweating a ton!  Jumping jacks, running up a hill, squats, lunges, planks, push-ups, shuffling, etc.  Fun stuff!                             Jason & I also ran a 5K last Saturday. I'm very proud of him, it was his 1st one ever. He did a good job! We plan on running another one sometime this yr.

I had a nice Mother's day. We had both our families over for dinner. Jason smoked pulled pork & ribs in the smoker. It was a yummy dinner!!

Melissa & Patrick came down for a weekend visit. We had a good time. We ate lunch at Crown Candy, went up in the Arch (Kendy's 1st time), went to dinner at Ethyl's, played Scrabble, Melissa made Kendy a dress, we went to church, had lunch at the coffeehouse, & went shopping down on Main St, St Charles.  The weather was pretty hot & humid too.

When we were at the top of the Arch, Kendall looked out the window & said "Where is the Arch at??" I said, "We're IN the arch!"    haha.              Good times.
