My baby & me

Kendall likes her baby. If you ask her where her baby is, she'll go get it. It was so cute last night. I checked on her before I went to bed & she was sleeping on her stomach with her arm around her baby. I should have taken a pic!

She's had a cold the past few days. Her nose is running non stop & she has a cough. Luckily, no fever though.

Kendall likes to harass Rascal. He just lays there. You'd think he'd get up & move. But noooooo, this dog is not independent at all!! Most dogs would go hide or maybe go upstairs to get away from her, not Rascal!

We had a nice weekend. My aunt, Susie, came down from Milwaukee for the weekend. They all came over on Friday afternoon to eat lunch & visit. We celebrated Gretchen's bday & went to Helen Fitzgerald's on Sat night. Today we went over to my parent's to celebrate my sister's bday.

15 Month Dr Check up

I took Kendall to the Dr today for her check up. She did well & the Dr said she looked good. She weighs 22 lbs, 2 oz (39th percentile) & she is 31 inches long (68th percentile). She got 3 shots (Hep B, MMR and chicken pox). Poor thing, she cried so hard when she got the shots. :(

Pedicure day!

Andrea usually paints Kendall's toenails every week. She says Kendall just sits there really still while she does it. She paints them a different color every time. Love it!

Juicy Juice

Jason thought we should get K some little juice boxes when we were at the grocery store. Well, Kendall really likes them. She was actually making kind of a mess so I had to take her outside to drink it. She kept squeezing it and the juice would spill out. I think she got more on the pavement than in her mouth.

On a sad note--For those following Layla Grace, she passed away this morning. Layla was a 2 year old girl in Texas who had Stage 4 neuroblastoma. This story has totally touched my heart like no other and made me cherish every day with Kendall. I can't even explain how touched I am by her story. It really changes your outlook on life & puts things in perspective. I prayed so hard for a miracle for this sweet girl. I didn't even know her, but Jason and I have been following her story the past couple weeks. It's very sad. I think I've cried or gotten a little teary eyed every time I go to their blog. Rest in Peace, sweet little Layla Grace.

These are some pics I took last weekend. I bought Kendall a bottle of bubbles, she wasn't too interested in them though. She had more fun carrying the bottle & wand around. Silly girl! This girl loves being outside so much! We came in & she went right back by the door & was trying to reach the door knob to go back out.
