Fall weather is here!

I love Fall! It's my fav season. I just like that crispness in the air, the leaves changing, Halloween (along with the candy!) , our annual pumpkin carving party & wearing snuggly sweaters.

Kendall is doing good. Getting so big. I know I say this quite a bit, but this year has probably been the quickest of my life. I can't believe K is almost 10 months old. It's crazy. She's crawling all over the place. She has found Rascal's dog food and water bowl and likes to crawl by it every chance she gets. Yesterday she had her hand in his water. I just hope one day I don't find her eating dog food.

On our last day in Florida, we drove to Destin and ate at this awesome place called McGuire's Irish Pub. We were all in awe when we walked in & saw $1 bills hanging all OVER the place. It's a really cool place. The food was excellent too. They have the biggest burgers which everyone loved and they have $.18 soup! Here is a little excerpt from their website--

McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. McGuire cooked and tended bar and Molly waited tables and greeted customers. When Molly made her first tip -one dollar- she tacked it to the back bar for good luck. Friends of the pub added to the collection and it soon became tradition. Today you will see over $550,000 one dollar bills hanging from the ceiling throughout the Pub, all of which have been signed by Irishmen of all nationalities.

Big Waves! So fun for boogie boarding!



Hi Everybody! Did you miss my blog entries? Well, we are back from Florida. We had a good time, despite 3 days of rain. We made the best of it though. One day we even went out into the ocean in the rain. It made for some big waves!! We spent a lot of time on the beach and just hanging out. We weren't able to do some of the activities we wanted to cuz of the rain. Our condo was awesome, so big & spacious! The balcony was huge! One of the exciting things that happened on our trip was that Lenny asked Gretchen to marry him the first night we were there. He asked her on the beach, how romantical!! I'm so excited for them!! It's a funny story cuz Gretch told me they were going for a walk on the beach, I asked her if she'd mind if I went, she said "no". Then Lenny came over & I asked him if he would mind if I went. I don't remember exactly what he said, but it was some kind of "yeah, I'd mind." No biggie, I just thought they wanted to walk by themselves. But then Lenny winked at me & I knew something was up!! I started freaking out & telling Jason that I bet Lenny is gonna ask Gretch to marry him. I was all worked up by it. J & I raced upstairs and I was spying on G & L walking down the beach until I couldn't see them anymore. It seemed like forever til they got back. Then they walk in the condo door and me and Jason are both staring at her. She's all nonchalant and then pulls her hand out and says "Look what I found on the beach!!" YAY!!! It's a beautiful ring too! Good story, huh!! Congrats Lenny & Gretch!!

I think I did a good job on being away from Kendall for a week. I really missed her!! I did cry today when we picked her up cuz she seemed a little unsure at first but then she went back to remembering me. She looks bigger and she is even babbling different now too. I'm glad to be back and be with her again though. It WAS a nice break down in Florida though.

9 Months Old!!

This will be my last blog entry for awhile. Jason, me & 2 other couples are heading down to Panama City Beach, FL for a week vacation. Kendall will be staying with both sets of grandparents next week. I am looking forward to going but it will be sad too cuz I'll miss Kendall.
